Hey Nonny, Nonny

This afternoon, a melodic phrase weaves itself through my mind...
Sigh no more, Ladies, sigh no more...
...And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
    Into Hey, nonny, nonny.

Much Ado About Nothing has got to rank as one of the most beautifully worded works of any poet.  Do you suppose Mr. Shakespeare could have known that some 400 years later his sentiments would ring just as true?

Wouldn't it be great to greet all of life's woe with shouts of joy rather than discouraged sighs?

Leaky roof?  Hey, Nonny, Nonny.  That's not mud all over the carpet?  Hey, Nonny Nonny.  Bored puppy, finding ways to entertain herself?  Hey, Nonny, Nonny!

Here's to a Sigh-free weekend filled with pleasant ditties
(Hey, Nonny, Nonny-s optional)
